Miklas Manneke is a South African director, creative director and photographer based in NYC

I primarily direct via We Own The City, where we offer full service creative solutions, primarily to musicians and brands. Or with Leanne Amann at Liklik.

My films have been Academy Award Nominated, Les Cesar nominated and SAFTA winning along with over 35 other international awards. (Such as winning the Audience Choice award at Oscar Qualifier Chicago International Film festival)

I have photographed for ato an audience of 65k followers, had international mutiple solo exhibitions of photography and published multiple print publications.

In the current day, I find it hard to explain what I do when introducing myself to people, but if you are in need of music videos, ideas or photography, I might be able to help.

As a creative director I have over 10 years of experience working at multiple agencies around with world. Currently at Anomaly since 2022. In my time I have worked on brands such as Don Julio, BMW, Converse, New Balance, Zales, Journeys, Johnnie Walker, Willy Chavarria, Popeyes and Bank of America. Winning multiple advertisiing awards (Clios, One Show, Shot, Lions, Webby Awards etc) and being featured by Vogue, Rolling Stone, Time, Hypebeast, Complex and many more.
